Après John Prine et Lucinda Williams, il est temps d'évoquer le cas Townes Van Zandt, figure culte de la scène americana disparu en 1997. À l'image de son idole Hank Williams, le texan était aussi mauvais alcoolique qu'il était un songwriter génial et, malgré son existence entre dépression et addiction, il aura livré une répertoire intouchable et influencé toute une génération... Le folk et la country lui doivent beaucoup et pourtant, il reste encore trop méconnu, alors redécouvrons son oeuvre...
